An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Rugby Football League, the National Governing Body for Rugby League in the UK & Super League (Europe), the elite club competition for the sport in the Northern Hemisphere. We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and passionate Performance and Development Programmes Officer based at our prestigious offices in Leeds. Working as part of a driven and motivated team, the post holder will be empowered to achieve and develop in an aspirational and values driven Governing Body.
You will provide the lead administration support to the Human Performance section of the department alongside the England Academy and England Youth programmes. You will also provide administrative and operational support to other Performance and Development programmes as appropriate.
You will liaise with Kit and Logistics personnel to ensure departmental equipment is stored, recorded and maintained, ensuring the upkeep of a stock control system. You will provide administration and logistical support related to the departments’ events, programmes, training and tours, from the initial organisation and implementation of programmes to arranging venues and resources.
The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills, be organised, proactive and a team player with experience of both working in an environment with sensitive information and in programme delivery involving a wide range of events or training programmes. You must have the ability to focus on delivery against strict timelines as well as the experience to co-ordinate and prioritise programmes of work using your own initiative.
It is essential the successful applicant will have a working knowledge of Rugby League, together with a commitment to continual development and a passion for the ongoing development and improvement of the sport as a whole. The applicant must also possess a full driving licence and have experience of working in a similar working environment.
